Fall wrap-up
Via Carney:
Good Morning Crow Nation, what a great day to be a Crow's FAN, lets get out skiing/boarding one time at bare minimum with you and the quiet strong - deal - u drive.
On behalf of the Young Crows and everything that is good about sport Coach Carney would like to present Our 2007 Captain Arkansas Dave (its not your gang Dave) Sorenson with the 2007 Playoff MVP Award, Bernie, who Dave voted for had this to say about Dave
Out in the open. There is no doubt that one individual stood above the rest not only Tuesday night but all year long. If we all prided our games, emotionally, mentally and physically after this one gamer we would have won the championship. I for one will admit that my torch started to burn out as the night went on. My offseason workouts will increase and I will improve my stamina for next year.
Captain, Dave Sorenson for MVP
Assistant To The Head Coach/ OF Coach/ Mark Jeglosky had this to say.
My MVP.......The entire YC infield...you guys played great!!!! (there were a couple of plays that made me go WHAT?) But over all it was by far your collective best efforts!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't let this go to your head Dave, keep him humble young man and next time when you talk to Coach Carney you best come loud and proud. Snowboarding is your reward or skiing for the family - free lessons for all. OOps by the way Dave you were a perfect 11 for 11, 9 runs scored, 4 doubles as you hit Jim's spot #2 in our order, Darn it Jim.
One more thing about the group within the group, I saw six guys huddle up before game one and look at the snowflakes - it should have been 13 ludes not six leadoff hitter.

Good Morning Crow Nation, what a great day to be a Crow's Fan, even though we fell short we learned as a team, and as a coach I saw some things that went down not according to script, first noticable was the lazy fly ball, I had 2 pop ups which was 2 more than I had all Fall season. One of my favorite YC's came to me and told me he was thinking of Kelly from Saved by the Bell in the Box - no worries here its between you and me and you hit well. Second - anyone notice the group within the group, this bothers me, we have played sport all our lives and if you don't understand team yet you may never. With each minute passing it burns me a little bit more. Special shout out to jkelly - saw mucho positive leadership skills - I would follow you into battle, that was the longest right approach attack on a blue I have ever seen. I know who my MVP is, please respond independently to me on who you think MVP of our championship run is asap. Have much more to say but thinking it best I hold off and let my emotions settle before we proceed. Thanks for handling the post game conference Jkelly, we did play great ball and it was a hoot, not a fundamental text-book hoot but lots and lots of fun, so proud of you Young Crow's, you are well on the right path to playing Crow Ball for life. Stats would be sweet, Fall 2007 will simply be missing two games - as Crow's and the way we run this is par for the course. Caw Caw Caw, day off anyone wanna play nine?

Championship Run
The Championship run fell one game short.
Playing in the blustery cold weather, the Crows won the first game in a dominating fashion 27-7. The hits continued to come in the second game, but not as frequent, during a 12-7 win.
The championship game featured offensive fireworks from both sides, and the Crows fell short 24-22. Excellent showing by the Crows. I'm sure the Executive Committee will post a season wrap up in the next couple days...

Yo-han

Scroll to the bottom...
If the Yankees offered a boat load of prospects, would that be good enough for Yo-han, since we are going to be in rebuilding mode minus Tnutts?

Good Championship Run Morning Crow Nation, what a great day to be a Crow's Fan. The YC's Fall season will be defined by tonight's outcome and efforts - do not show timid - show loud and proud with some pep in our step and some pride in our stride, lets not forget about the Caw in our jaw. No more silly words, its time to perform between the lines, in big games the cream of the crop rises to the top. Pre-game if you choose otherwise 6:30 at the creek for bp where we took it first game of summer. Caw Caw Caw - leave nothing to chance. When we win it all we will vote for Playoff Series MVP - who wants it - who's hungry - this ones mine. I will come up with a winning lineup unless you white collars want to put something together - minimum of 6 need to agree on it though, otherwise I got it, Gunner's out of town which really steams me, Wilkey late 1st game - did I tell u Wilks I bought 3 quality Husky hoodies for 20.00 on clearance - seems they had to give them away. Pay attention to the game and help each other out as needed. Give me some more of that Bernie - good things
Who knew the Hockey community was such a exclusive and elite club to be in, I know its strong in Mn. but what about nationwide?

Coaches Corner
Via Carney:
Good afternoon Crow Nation, what a great day to be a Crow's Fan. Thia afternoon I was thinking about the most dominant championship game or series I have ever seen, some came to mind, 91' Twins, Late 80's ShowTime Warriors (lakers) Jordan and his Bulls, but I think and Randy can back me up on this the most dominant in your face we're gonna beat you cause we're the best was when the Broncos ran the ball at the pack all afternoon and manhandled them in the superbowl. What was yours? Give it a thought as we are on a championship run of our own, dress warm as game temp 7:30 #2 at the creek will be low 50's with of 21 - 31 knots. Caw Caw Caw, oops Favre is breaking all sorts of Records this year - doin it Old Style

Is it any wonder why there are threats of blackouts?
That season ticket renewals are down (I didn't renew mine this year)?
This has to be one of the worst run teams since Les Steckel.
