Twins hitting struggles
I'll be the first to admit, it is hard as hell to NOT swing at a softball pitch....
But baseball, come on fellas, let's get it together.

A new weather man
Game 4 Recap
Game #4
Crows 15
Bobber Down 3 (4 innings)
After scoring 12 runs in their last at bat in game one, the Crows were feeling good, coming into game 2 of their double header. This game they were up against Bruce Thery, Tommy McQuay, and the arch rival Bobber Down team. This team is loaded with D talent, and is always battling for first place in the league. The Crows stayed hot, scoring 4 in the first, and playing flawless defense all night long. The shut out Bobber down for 2 innings, holding a 4-0 lead going into the 3rd. Bobber Down scored 2, to make it 4-2. However, the bottom of the 3rd, the Crows decided not to let them gain any momentum, by putting up 11 runs with 16 batters reaching the plate. They then held Bobber down to 1 run, winning by TKO in 3 1/2 innings.
Some say the Crows were inspired by a hard nosed ump that would not let beverages be consumed during the game. The Crows knew, the only way to meet up with their Buddy Weiser and friends, was to make this game a short affair.
Game Ball- Kyle Christenson
1-2 1 Run, 4 RBI's HR - GRAND SLAM!
Game 3 Recap
Game #3
Crows 25
Bounty Hunters 14
The Young Crows found themselves in a heated back and forth game in their 3rd contest of the year. Going up against a young 20 something team full of energy and vigor, the Bounty Hunters trailed most of the game, but kept it close. The finished the 5th inning taking a 14-13 lead in a see saw battle. The umpire then declared the 6th inning to be the final inning. The Crows took their at bats down by 1, but as a true veteran team as they are, they took advantage, sending 17 batters to the plate, scoring 12 runs, and taking a 25-14 lead, which ended up being the final.
The final inning saw Bernie Knox leading off the inning, needing only a double to complete the cycle. Down by 1, Bernie roped one down the line, but rather than stop at 2, to get his cycle, he continued on to 3rd, taking a team first attitude. He ended up scoring the tying run, but still a double short of the cycle. The Crows then went to Caw for Bernie, batting around, and getting to their leadoff hitter for the 2nd time in the 6th. This at bat, Bernie again laced a line drive, and ended up on 2nd base, completing his cycle. This being said - Player of the Game is an easy choice:
Game Ball- Bernie Knox
5-5 5 runs, 3 RBI's, 1B, 2B, 2-3B's and a HR
Wins and contributions to them
