Game 7 Recap

Game #7

Crows 15

2020 virt. trs 8

In a game that got off to a slow start, which had the undefeated crows trailing 2-1 after two innings, the crows still had an aura of confidence to them and the feeling around the park was not if, but when would the "bully" on the block hit the young punk in the mouth and take his lunch money. The Cows then added a couple runs in the next two innings taking a 6-2 into the fifth and added six and three more in the next two innings. Leading the way for the Crows offensively was Jason "Zog" Herzog who 2-3 with 2 doubles, 3 RBI's, and two runs scored, and Billy "Ballgame"

Nolan- 3-3, 2 runs, 3RBI's, and a walk. But once again Player of the game goes to the "Human Hitting Machine" Mark "Hegs" Jeglosky!

Kubel

In the interesting of fair and balanced reporting (yeah Fox!!) Gleeman has a lengthy article about Kubel today. To sum it up, yes Kubel has struggled the past month, but time to give him full time duty. If he doesn't do it now, he may never.

Average Fastball

Check out Gleeman today. He has posted the Average Fastball Velocity stat for each Twins pitcher. It's kinda cool and somewhat surprising.

Game 6 Recap

Game #6

Crows 19
2020 Ultimate Tours 6

Game 2 of this doubleheader had 2 things going against the Young Crows right off the bat.

#1 - There was an hour off between games, and the Young Crows were 0-27 in the 2nd game of a delayed doubleheader.

#2 - YC was out of detox, and ready to make his first appearance at a Young Crows game.

The Crows went up against a new foe in 2020 Ultimate Tours. Not knowing what to expect the Young Crows found themselves a little sluggish at first, finding themselves in a 4-2 deficit after 3 innings. However, then the floodgates opened, and the Young Crows came to life, outscoring the tours 17-2 in the last 2 innings, finishing the game 19-6 after 5 innings.

Game 5 Recap

Game #5

Crows 8
Bounty Hunters 5

The Crows found themselves going up against the Bounty Hunters in back to back week, knowing that these guys wanted revenge (as a true Bounty Hunter would). The Young Crows found themselves down 4-3 after one, and trailed throughout most of the game. They were able to tie the game 4-4 in the bottom on the 4th, and then after the Bounty Hunters went up 5-4 in the top of the 5th, the Crows put up 3, and finish out the game winning 8-5.
