I'm tearing up just reading that. Our generation had 34 to look up to. I can remember pretending to steal home run balls from the backyard fence ala Puck. Now, my kids emulate 48 in the backyard as I did 25 years ago. Any thoughts on how to explain to the kiddies that their most favorite player isn't going to be a Twin anymore?

I told my son that on MLB 2K7, you can trade players and sign free agents...Well, Tnutts had his contract expired, and he can do the same thing. It makes sense, however, doesn't ease the pain.
