Delmon

I absolutely LOVE this trade.
When was the last time the Twins went aggressive after a young hitter?!?!
We lose Garza, which is going to suck, but we pick up a sweet hitting 22 year old who can rake.

And for all those people complaining about losing Bartlett/Johan/Hunter/Silva in the same offseason, all I have to say is we had those 4 for the past 3 seasons, and only made the playoff's once. Time to re-tool.

yep. re-tool. We'll get a few good years out of Young and when he becomes a superstar, we won't pay him, because we won't think he's worth it. So we will let him go and re-tool again. Hopefuly in the next 5 years of retooling, we can take a page out the Rockies book. Actually have that young talent get hot and ride them to a A.L. Pennant.

I think we'll pay Delmon (especially if he doesn't throw any bats at any umps), because he will still be young. I don't think we have really let any player go that turned out to be something big for someone else outside of Ortiz, and every other MLB team thought the same thing about Ortiz...The Red Sox just got lucky he caught fire.

I like this much knowing D will not be a role model off the field, do what you do D, give me your honest best effort and this marriage will be blissful. Missing Garza that confident bull headed son of a gun with a huge upside. Whats your next move Bill?
