Retirement

Rumor has it that one Rob Wilkey, HOF Class of 93 has retired from the Crows.
Let me be the first to state that he will be sorely missed and it is unfortunate that we weren't able to give him the Carlton Fisk treatment in his final season.
I wish you luck Mr. Wilkey, and hope your retirement is very *boxer* like in that you decide to come back.

Is this a commentary on the blog or the Crows that we only have had 3 people comment on a cornerstone of the Crows retiring?!?!?

I think this goes without saying, but the entire Crows organization has been privileged and blessed to have the best D league softball right fielder be a part of their legacy. Mr. Wilkey will be sorely missed on the field, but hopefully can still be a part of this organization for many years to come. Maybe he is just getting a head start on his eligibility to the Crows Wall of Fame.

I appreciate the comments fellas. And don't be surprised if-from time to time you hear a lone caw coming from the shadows of Ward or the Creek.
