Anoka was the site of the 1st annual YC Hockey extravaganza/jamboree, not to far from Crow's Country and Rocket Park. The action was fast and furious - the ice was a little soft but the sun was shining and the contest ws everything it was billed to be. Team Coolage faced off against Team Carney for this inaugural event. Coolage's squad played dirty, lots of fore checking into the boards and the corners, slashing was always on the mind of Team Carney - hired officials will be in effect next year. Anyhow, Team Coolage slightly edged out the faster Team Carney on this day. Team Coolage - if you won't call it low down dirty hockey I will. Post game refreshments were served at B-sides (formerly Durkins) as the YC planned another event. Sunday would be a good day to play some puck - what do you say wilks, treats, brocko, bernie etc etc...... You may have won that battle Coolage but the outcome of this war still lies within Team Carney' squad. Cawww Cawwww Cawwwww

Quite impressive - never bet on a basketball star in a game of puck (the same goes the other way around of course). Nolan is probably the only player in the YC franchise that can hold his own in both winter sports. (and there are only 2 real winter sports).
DC - what's up with the orange pants - if they had a brown stripe down the middle - they would have been even more impressive!
2 winter sports....that's because grappling is a year round commitment. Can I get an Amen JKelly!?!?!?!
Orange is the color of happiness and as it turns out in honor of you and the browns I am currently looking for the brown jacket to go with the orange bottoms - as your dawg pound back in the day at cook has had a lasting impression. And as far as the outcome of this game - don't believe everything i type.
The Browns jacket has been retired, but does still exist, and if the need to pick up women ever comes up, I will dawn it again.
Looks like a fun outing day. Can't wait for ball to start, so the gang can get back together again!

next time...call on brocko. the brocko boys can show with some #'s and immediatly make this Jamboree legitimate. we bring "A" game each and every day and thrive in the style of Team Coolage.
Well, everyone seems to be taking Team Coolage's side, so I'll support Team Carney.
I'm gonna build my squad around #8, yes we all have choices and #8 you made the wiser choice here, so fitting that you were captain 07-08. I'm bringing in some bruisers next year - thinking S. Smith and D.
