Dire Straits - Put me in Coach I'm ready to play today look at me yeah I could be Centerfield. #33 seems to be taking the brunt of this poor offensive start.

Ironbirds baseball is in full swing DC.
First practice at Casa de Sorenson.
I'll have to get you a schedule as all games are at the Creek and you can watch Quiet Strong and Little Wilkey destroy the competition

Looking forward to it, practice at your house nice nice nice, yes they first must become students and educated on the game - Let Go Ironbirds Lets Go Ironbirds - it just doesn't roll off the tongue very easy but I love the name. Do you have a batting cage?

The Ironbirds are the great Cal Ripken's minor league team. Can't get better than that.

Nope, I have a screen, which we will do soft toss. Then, I have a golf size wiffle ball pitching machine that shoots em out pretty quick. So, we will do that.

Also, I have some rubber fungoes and a Jeter reaction ball to practice grounders. We will also do some throwing to strecth the arm out.

Speaking Of Cal Jr. many moons ago ballgame, zogger and myself had the pleasure of talking with him and Brady Anderson on the loading dock at the HHH after game. Zogger sold me out to Brady as I was heckling his sideburns during the game. Brady said to me yeah your real toough 50 yards away yelling at me how tough are you face to face - In hindsight I'm lucky he didn't go roid rage on me. I told Cal I loved him and he was a role model to me - He said why are you wearing a Mariners lid - luckily I was wearing Billy's hat which had a #8 penciled in under the brim which saved me as I showed him - great night. Coach all those kids well especially the fatherless for me - Good Things
