Kubel

In the interesting of fair and balanced reporting (yeah Fox!!) Gleeman has a lengthy article about Kubel today. To sum it up, yes Kubel has struggled the past month, but time to give him full time duty. If he doesn't do it now, he may never.

Who is this Aaron Gleeman guy - he has too much time on his hands, but interesting articles.

That being said - this is starting to sound like excuse time for Kubel. I love the guy, and love his power, but batting .235 with 15 HR's on the year, is not the player the Twins need. Gardy can only give him so much time, and if Monroe is the hot bat, and Kubel is struggling, it is hard to blame Gardy for giving Monroe some of Kubel's at bats. Kubel has had ample time to take a full time job with the twins, but everytime he has a good week, he follows it with 3 bad weeks. He still has a chance, but needs to get hot again, and then stay that way.
