A crack staff reporter at WCAW has reported Wes Walz has accepted an invitation from the Great Mullet to be an assistant coach on his staff.

Correct me if im wrong, but didn't he sign a contract extension, and then take a leave of absences for a month early in the season, then retire? i thought he still had some game left.
