Ever the eternal optimist when it comes to this team, I think the Twins shot their wad last night. They are officially done. Last night's game was a make or break for the team. If they win coming all the way back from 8-1, it's a spring board for the stretch run and they get into the playoffs. Instead, after working so hard to make it 9-8, Gardy's first choice out of the bullpen is Every Day Eddie. Are you effing kidding me?!?!?! The guy has done nothing but give up runs since coming to the Twins, and you're going to deflate the whole team by bringing him in?!?!?!
Now, in true Twins fashion, we'll end up sweeping the ChiSox in the dome, but it won't matter because we will be 5 games out when they come to town. Oh well, it's been a nice run.

Did we say it was over when the German's bombed Pearl Harbor - Animal House. Tough go right now for the Twinkies. Once again I feel they overachieved with the talent they have. Several glaring issues as Road Zogg mentioned. Does Cuddy try 3rd again next year or is he trade bait for middle relievers - just a thought.
