One would have to say that, yes they will be in contention. As article and Zog say, 3rd base might be key - don't know, Tolbert Tolbert Tolbert with little HR production. Look for Liriano to go lights out and take the first ticket out of town when eligible, probably those damn yankees.
Have faith DC....Liriano will stay.
3rd base will be ok...We need more production from out outfield (power-wise)
We need 3B and/or SS. I am good with Harris at SS - but need power at 3B. Tobert is a good utility guy.
That being said - Punto, 2 years 8.5 million? That move right there should give the Twins an F for the offseason so far. Imagine 8.5 million to be able to throw around....
