Breaking news...a crack staff reporter at WCAW has this scoop:
Continuing a negative trend, the Twins once again failed to invite any members of the Crows to Spring Training. (The list of invitees is here : http://blogs2.startribune.com/blogs/neal/2009/01/14/twins-invite-15-non-roster-players-to-camp/) How will the EC respond to such a blatant disregard for the quality ball players the EC employees? Perhaps it was contract related and the EC's posting fees were too high. Perhaps the EC values their players and won't let them go at any price.
The crack staff reporter attempted to contact the EC, but his calls were not returned.
We will await an official statement from the YC Organization.

My only shot and it is on my to-do-list is the fantasy spring training which runs around $3,000 - $4,000 I think. Don't know why the twins have yet to pluck some talent from the Crow's, including the retired Originals back in the day.
I believe the writer of this article does not understand sports......The question would be why were no TWINS players invited in for a tryout for the Crows? Most likely, because they would not be good enough.
Why would a Crow want to be demoted and play for MLB, when they are on the elite of all elite teams, in the D League Softball Crows.....?
