On this chilly morning, it's always good to hear the Twins start making some sense...

Even though his glove sucks, he did take over some games last season, and even win some with his bat on his own, however, fully aware he contributes me no likey for some reason. Thinking I will be Tolbert this year, I think he's ready.
Here's the deal on Kubel...he is putting up league average DH numbers, and is cheap. What is not to like about that?!?! If we could get league average offense out of CF, 3B, SS, LF, we'd be all set!!!
Yes he does fit here and is affordable, not so sure why i dislike him, maybe I'm waiting for him to prove me wrong and setting the bar high for him. LF didn't we get offense with little defense? CF Gomez 1st year and all - hoping he gets better but he could go the other way. Tolbert will solve ss or 3rd. Did the blog honor the late great Carl Pohlad?
I'm back in the saddle again....funny how a .290 10 hr year is not a good year out of the LF - especially when he is 22. Sure his defense is raw - but would rather teach OF than hitting. GoGo could be an issue - but if so, we put Span in CF - Cuddy or Kubes in RF and we are fine. WE NEED A 3B - and just think, we could have 8.5 million extra to pay one.....
The problem isn't with Delmon's overall numbers if we were getting league average from other positions...my stance is, we have too many holes where we carry guys with less than average numbers (Gomez...looking your way), so Delmon's numbers stick out more, especially when finding a good hitting LF is usually pretty easy
