Prospects

For those who care about how Minor Leaguers are projected (Mr Tell), Gleeman is breaking down his Twins top 40 prospects. What's particularily interesting is today there are a couple pitchers that came over in the Johan trade last year and what their respective futures may hold.

All 3 of the pitchers went backwards from the Mets. Slama and Delaney have me excited - other than that business as usual. Can't wait to see 1-10 prospects. Got me a new Twins hat for X-mas. Right field at the new park is where I want to watch my first game there - looks sweet out there with all the different sections and the seats are inexpensive and field level - can't wait.

Slama is interesting in that he is 25 in A-ball....Isn't this make or break for the dude?

Good call, that makes sense. The article got me when it said "one of the sickest stat lines you will ever see". Maybe they are being overly cautious in his development and wanting him to learn to be a stud, even if he is 3-4 years older than everyone else. Maybe he's only achieving results as he is pitching to young overly aggressive batters - don't know. C'mon Slama, I'll see ya at the new park in 2 years or else I'll be eating Crow again.
