wow - I did not expect you to post a semi-complentary article on DY. Don't give up on him yet - the guy can hit - and power will come eventually. GoGo is the one we need to send down right now - to get him more at bats - it does his future no good by sitting him on the bench everyday.

I'm not totally giving up on DY...I'm just saying we need to temper our expectations on him.
Gogo needs to play...somewhere.

He better show up soon, or all those "Schmucks" who bought D.Y. game jersey's are going to be laughing stocks!!

Has anyone noticed that we are 6 games into the season & not 1 game ball has been given out? Does Coach Nolan need an Assistant Traveling Secretary?

Good point.
Perhaps the pressures of running a Championship organzation have Coach Nolan focusing solely on the product on the field, and he hasn't had the chance to recognize the individual achievements of his players. Say what you will about Coach Nolan, but he is solely focused on winning, and what more could an Organization want?!?!

I agree...I think he's been a little high strung lately. I got fined a case last week for.......well, I don't know what for, but I got fined a case. Something about, I'm his Reggie Jackson????

Could Coach Nolan be losing it?

Being fined for *being* Reggie Jackson?!?!?! I always thought being Reggie Jackson was a good thing.

Coach Nolan leads with cryptic messages....although they may not make sense at the time of their utterings, they have a way of self realization about them. Much the same way a Fortune Cookie does

Found this on cbssportsline:

Of Delmon Young's 23 hits, 21 are singles. He's like Ichiro minus the speed, defense, instincts and zen temperament.
