1st Annual YC Ski Outing/Social

On the same day as the hockey game the YC held its inaugural ski outing/social at Trollhaugen in WI - anyone see Favre cry, I cry to sometimes but - toasting to the end of that era - back on point and skiing. The snow was white and as you can see in the pic they have theses chairs that take you to the top of the hill and then you ski or rip (see Billy's pic) down to the bottom and once again ride the magical chairs. Outside of a few boarders and a couple ski patrols we had this luxurious mountain resort all to our ourselves - yes skiing can be a lot of work but once your there and in the moment it is so worth the effort and drive. As it turns out this was the funnest YC functions I have ever attended not including the one weekend I got to spend with the Originals at the Godfathers Cabin which has its own 9 hole course. Anyhow, I reckon Billy now has the ski bug as it is highly addictive - I mean highly addictive - I mean more addictive than Favre and his pills. Going forward next year we will try and double - triple the number of participants in this fun filled day. Ooops one more thing, thanks for your help ski patrol. Caww Cawwww Cawwwww - what a day - thats how these 2 crows roll.

YC's planning committee needs to do a better job of informing all members of upcoming events. :)

agreed, who is is charge of this committee, I think Zogger, also Jerry is having a golf tourney this year at victory links next to airport fileds in Blaine - the crow will put its name on this event and attendance is mandatory or something.

I agree about the more dvanced notice - but hey, sometimes the best events are planned spur of the moment, and it seems that is what happened with these 2 events. Even though we could not join in this year, it is great to know that the inaugural hockey and ski outings were a success, and now the groundwork is laid for both of these to become annual events.

I sure hope I get drafted on Billy's hockey team next year. Ooops, sorry, I didn't mean to say that outload.
